Jesus in Acts

Acts of the Apostles describes everything that the Church did, afer Jesus - the Head of the Church, died, rose again and went to the Father, sending the Holy Spirit in His place.

So, we can see The Headship of Jesus in every endeavour of His new Body - the redeemed, born again saints of the Most High. Before He left, Jesus taught His disciples that the Holy Spirit Who was to come in and upon them, was to take from Jesus and reveal to the people.

Well, the Bible clearly identifies Jesus as The Giver of the Holy Spirit (The One that baptises with the Holy Spirit) and when the Holy Spirit is come in and upon us, He is glorifying and pointing to Jesus all the time.

On the other hand, Jesus would not be able to do ANYTHING in His life and ministry, without the power of the Holy Spirit, so can you see how closely interrelated are they both?

Well, Jesus, as the Head of the Church, was the One directing and giving orders to the apostles (chapter 1), but as the Giver of the Holy Spirit we can also see the Headship and leading of the Spirit in the Church, the main focus again being to point to Jesus Christ and Him crucified. All in all, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are working together to reveal and fulfill God the father's destiny in each and every one of our lives and ministries.

God Bless you!

Nikola
