Jesus Resurrection

Jesus Resurrection is the greatest thing that has ever happened to our world, after the fall of man. Man fell terribly, not deserving at all to be glorified by God, yet, God sent His Only begotten Son Jesus Christ to live on Earth as the Son of Man (e.g. to show us how we can live for God while in our earthly tabernacle - our body); to die on the Cross for our sins, sicknesses and failures, and then to rise on the third day by the Glory of the Father, thus defeating the power of satan and evil as a whole, providing for us total victory over sin, sickness, poverty, fear, lack, depression, addiction, misery and every other thing of the devil. Hallelujah!

Some people celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus at Easter only, but the Christians who know their God personally and intimately celebrate this event every day of their lives, obtaining the daily power of resurrection needed, to fight every temptation in this world and come out victorious. Let us choose to be from this second group, as living a Godly life is not a religious ritual, but a day to day practical living experience with a Living Savior in a truly wicked and crazy world.

This world should never have the advantage over us, spiritually speaking. We are living IN the world, but we are not OF this world. Therefore, let us not move according to the spirit of the world (1 Corinthians 2:12), cares of the world (Mark 4:19), image of this world (Romans 12:2), wisdom of this world (1 Corinthans 2:6), and the iniquities, sins and lusts of this world in general, but according to the Resurrection power working on the inside of us.

Naturally speaking, we will one day judge the world (1 Corinthians 6:2), so the Lord must have placed that spiritual capacity in us, don't you think? Not only that, this Earth is OUR inheritance, not the devil's, so we will do well if we do everything possible to take a good care of it and the people living in it too - believers and unbelievers alike.

So, the power of Jesus Resurrection has an eternal spiritual and natural significance as being the foundation of every future promise of God for us. It is foolishness to the big heads out in the world, but for us it is the power of God unto salvation and eternal glory (1 Corinthians 1:18).
