What is love? Love is to live our lives for others and not for ourselves. Jesus said: “I came not to do My will, but the will of the One Who sent me”. We don’t live for ourselves. We live to do God’s will and to love others. When they sin against us, we are not only to forgive them, but also to bear their spiritual “infirmities” because we don’t live for ourselves, but for them. “We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.” (Romans 15:1) Well, if you think you are strong, prove it! Don’t say: “They are this and that!” Say: “I don’t live for myself, but for them” in stead. If Jesus gave His live for us while we were still sinners, we can also stop living our lives for ourselves and start committing to our spouses, to our pastors and leaders, to our teachers and to our bosses. Let us give our lives so they can succeed. What a Godly lives we will have lived then!
