The Jesus Tomb is one of the greatest natural proofs of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The tombs of every other major leader of whatever religion there is - is still full of the bones of that respective leader, while the tomb of Jesus is EMPTY!
When Jesus died and was placed in that tomb, the Pharisees, being afraid that His disciples might steal His body, went to Pilat and wanted a securement of the tomb and a Roman guard. So, what they actually did was to put an enormous stone at the tomb's mouth, then seal it with a roman seal, which, if somebody broke, received a death punishment immediately, and besides all this, Roman soldiers guarded the tomb.
Well, when Jesus rose from the dead, we know by the account of the Gospel writers, that even the Roman soldiers saw the angel that rolled away the stone, yet the Pharisees rumoured everywhere that the disciples came and stole the body, while the soldiers were sleeping, which was impossible for at least 4 reasons:
1. The Roman soldiers were under strict orders and their being asleep would mean their death, so it was impossible for them to take that liberty to fall asleep.
2. There were at least 4 Roman soldiers, and if it was a regular Roman watch, like in Acts 12:4, they were changed every 3 hours, so the possibility of all 4 getting asleep at one time is below zero.
3. A cord was stretched across the stone and an official seal with clay was fastened at each end, so it could be detected if the grave was opened.
4. The disciplesthemselves, who were grieving and were afraid of what would happen next, when they saw the empty tomb of Jesus and Him resurrected after that, they became so bold, that they did not anymore fear about their lives. Had they stolen the body, their "faith" would not stand the test of being able and more than ready to give their life for a cause they knew was a fraud. It had to be for real!
There are other proofs of course, of the resurrection of Jesus, but I know that even the Jesus tomb ones suffice more than enough.
