The Raptor Jesus Page will attempt to present the issues that concern the end times. I would not want to go so much into details, because this subject is vastly discussed among Christian circles and there are many and different opinions.
Some believe that in a given moment of time, there will be a rapture of all believers, e.g. millions or even billions of believers will suddently disappear from the Earth, because they will have gone to Heaven with Jesus, leaving the rest of the world here on Earth, to suffer in the Great Tribulation period. Others do not believe there will be a rapture at all, and they claim the rapture doctrine has been "invented" by the Catholic Church and that it does not have any convincing and clear evidence in the Bible.
Within the Rapture believing camp, there are several schools of thought as to when exactly Raptor Jesus will take the Church into heaven, as follows:
- Pre-Tribulation Rapture: before the start of the Tribulation
- Mid-Tribulation Rapture: at the mid-point of the Tribulation
- Post-Tribulation Rapture: at the conclusion of the Tribulation
- Pre-Wrath Rapture: the church will go through the great tribulation by Antichrist during the end times, but will be raptured immediately before the 'Day of the Lord' wrath, when Christ cuts short the persecution of Antichrist.
- Partial Rapture: only those who are faithful in the church will be raptured or translated and the rest will either be raptured sometime during the tribulation or at its end.
On the other end are the ones that do not believe in the Rapture as some physical event, as well as the reign of AntiChrist as a real person. They claim that AntiChrist is a system, and not a physical being. This system is already operating in our world and is opposing the Lord in every sphere of our spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, economic, political and social life.
The truth is that nobody so far has been able to prove or disprove any of these Raptor Jesus theories from the Bible. I will also not try to take a first stand on any of the above, but would like to concentrate instead, on our faith being strengthened in the area of being ready for our Lord when He comes, because One Thing is SURE - Jesus Christ is coming back for His own and He is going to establish the Kingdom of God on this Earth!
That's why, let's focus on our mission while we are still on Earth. Let's do the work of God in praying, preaching, teaching, evangelizing and helping the fellow people among us every possible way we can.
I have heard of an extreme Raptor Jesus camp, which teaches its people to pack their bags and suitcases, and live like that, awaiting the Rapture any moment. That's certainly wrong. If there would be a Rapture, that should motivate such folks to do the work of the ministry with even greater zeal, because God wants us to save as much people as we can.
I have also heard of those who believe they will go through the Tribulation and therefore even from now begin to stock and store cans of food for that time. That is certainly wrong as well. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind and whatever we have to go through, we will go through it through God's grace and not through trembling and shaking with fear. What kind of a witnesses we would be then?
And if there would not be a Rapture at all, then our work is still God's priority for the time we are living in. The Second Coming of the Lord is the truly important event and even more importantly is for us to have finished our course by that time.
So, please prepare for the Rapture or the Second Coming by investing everything you can spiritually in yourself, so you can fulfill the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-18. That's what God's heart is longing for at this present dispensation.
