30th week: RESPONSIBILITY Deception is one of Christians’ worst enemy.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32 (KJV)
Bondage is a deception. In order to be free, one must know the truth. The Jews said to Jesus: “We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?” But Jesus didn’t mean a natural bondage. He meant a spiritual bondage – bondage to sin, bondage to deception, bondage to religion, bondage to wrong ideas. There’s so much deception in the world, and it all leads to bondage.
Israel was in bondage in Egypt. It required many battles for them to get out of there. It requires battles to get out of bondage. “Pharaoh” will not be happy for You to get out of bondage. Who is asking him anyway? We are to proclaim the word of the Lord: “Pharaoh, let My people go! Devil, let God’s people go. Let them be free. Let them be healed, delivered and set free. Let them move progressively in all the Lord has for them. In Jesus’ name! Amen!
We must take our responsibility to break free of bondage. People think that the Lord will do it. Others think that when the Lord has given them a word, it will just happen by itself. No! Moses received the word from God, yet he had to fight for that word. We too, have to fight for God’s purposes to be established upon the Earth. Sometimes praising the Lord will be our main weapon; sometimes – prayers and fasting. Other times, we must proclaim the word of the Lord, still other times release God’s miracles, but whatever we do, we must fight the devil with everything we’ve got. Only then we will win.
