| The Story of birth of Jesus. The day Jesus was born is the hapiest day for the "obstetrician" profession. Yet, the obstetricians were not present and even the little hotel in Bethlehem did not act adequately, because it refused staying for the night for Joseph and Mary. This did not hinder God though, to have Mary give birth to His Only Begotten Son and let the shepherds know. Can you see the humility of the Lord expressed in this birth? I mean, at present people (especially rich ones) give thousands of dollars, so they can have a super comfortable birth. Of course, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Yet, see how the greatest birth of all times happened - in an animal manger, out in the field, in the Presence of God's angels, who were soooo curious to see the Messiah that was to be born! Hallelujah! That reminds me of the power of a seed. You see, a seed has everything in itself, to grow into a big plant or a tree, and history has been a witness countless times to plants and trees which have grown in the most unexpected places. |
