The Largest Bible in the World
The Bible has been produced by the members of Sungrak church and it weighs more than 600 kilogrammes. Thus, it is in the Guiness Book of Records as the Largest handwritten Bible in the world. Pastor Emannuel and Stefka Kokonchevi, together with their lovely daughter Maria - a very dear family fellow ministers and friends of ours, went to South Korea and were taken by their hosts to see this incredible masterpiece, so they took a picture of it. Well, I coulnd't but place it on this web site, because it really excites me. Kokonchevi also said South Koreans so much love the Word of God that many people make handwritten copies of the Bible. Can you imagine that? South Korea is in the Top 10 most developed nations in the world, especially in the area of elecronics and technology, yet, God's people there are so hungry and motivated to do such a thing! I would understand it if that happened in restricted areas, where the Bibles are a taboo and are extremely hard to find, but in this case I would not call this anything else, but a true and humble respect for the Word of Almighty God.
