To Love Someone

Can we ever love someone too much?

A simple nod . . .

A simple touch . . .

A feeling that’s sometimes too much

A love that captures all that’s said

and that which is not all in our head;

To love someone with all your heart,

is a feeling that we hope will never part

But a Love built with a foundation of God

is a Love that will never leave your heart . . .

God’s Will

It’s best said in the book of life

That love is patient

and love is kind,

which often leaves our mind.

To love someone is hard to do

when we don’t think all things through,

But when handled with care

never brings despair;

To have a love that’s in God’s will

which God will fulfill.

Let God prevail in your life,

and this will only eliminate strife,

for God’s love is always there.

All we need is a simple prayer . . .

is simply sent.

A special kind of Love

I want a love that’s pure and strong,

The kind of love that can’t go wrong,

A love that’s patient and hard to find,

A love that’s simply one of a kind,

A love that conquers all the rest

and becomes the very best,

A love that’s built solely on trust

and can never be mistaken as simply lust,

A love that we can cherish

and one that will never perish.

A love built on a foundation of God.

When God Speaks

I woke up this morning with God at my side

He whispered He loved me in my ear

and promised I’d persevere!

“With me,” He said,

“All things are possible,

Even those that are indescribable . . .

Hold your head up high

and reach for the sky.

Put all your faith in Me as

I lead the way.

And remember one thing,

if and when you fall,

I will be there to catch you!”

When God speaks,

People listen.

When God speaks,

All are humbled.

When God speaks,

Lives are changed!
