Photos of Jesus

Photos of Jesus? I know this might sound strange, but below is a web site, which probably has the largest collection of Jesus photos, with information about each photo, and its original source. Many of the sources claim they have authentic photos of the Lord Jesus, gathered from places where He appeared to people and they took a snapshot of Him.

Of course, the Lord is Sovereign and I don't think He has any problem appearing to people. He actually did appear to many people in Biblical times. Had they had a photo or video camera, the Bible heroes could have taken a photo of Jesus too. So, it's competely possible on one side, and on the other, all these photos must be subject to complete and thorough investigation if they are going to be used in some official presentations or discourse.

Well, this is not the area that excites me the most, because there can be much fraud and speculation in it, making it extremely difficult to separate the true from the false, but of course, this does not mean there is no truth at all - exactly on the contrary, because in order for speculations and falsifications to occur, there MUST BE A TRUE IMAGE AS WELL. Nobody falsificates something that does not exist and that does not have an original, right?
