The Truth in You

This Long and narrow path

I have chosen to walk

It elevates my hopes, my dreams

It gives me great courage

The kind I never believed

I could find in You

It gives me a renewed sense of joy

An unexplainable sense of security

That I have found in You

For You have become my solid rock

My shelter and my fortress

In you I have found magnificent love

Great comfort and joy

I chose not to look back

At all the mishaps of my past

In the darkest hours

You have ease my pain

In my ignorance, my insolence

And in all confusions

You have shed abundant light

I was fortified by its brightness

For in You I can see clearly now

You have sharpen my vision

In You I have learned

The true meaning of life

I understand the demands

That of a righteous life

Your words of wisdom

Have so much encouraged me

They have taken me

To a higher place

To a different height

In You I can do all things

For in You I am fortified

Truly sanctified by the path

You have chosen for me

In You I am stronger now

For in You I am equipped

To fight this fight

For a lifetime with You

It will all be worth it

For all the wonderful truth

I have found in You
